Alpha-lipoic acid is unique because it can work in both aqueous and lipid environments. Alpha-lipoic acid promotes glutathione production and can also recycle vitamins C and E, thereby enhancing their antioxidant activities. In addition, alpha-lipoic acid may help maintain healthy nerve tissue, promote healthy glucose metabolism, and support healthy cardiovascular function.
This double-strength product contains more alpha-lipoic acid (600 mg per capsule) than our regular-strength product (100 mg per capsule).
Directions for use: Take one capsule daily, preferably with a meal.
