During the last few years, a new and exciting science has been established and discovered, which is the science of body language. It was founded by behavioral and psychologists with the aim of studying the meaning of body movements and the sensory signals that each of us sends to others. Meaning that this science is concerned with studying behavior or non-verbal communication. Then other sciences and professions took an interest in this science, including management science, the social service profession, and the special education profession... and tried to contribute to building a knowledge base for it, and benefiting from its topics in developing and improving communication processes for those working in the fields of these sciences and professions. This book aims to shed light on this language in terms of: the concept, historical roots, importance, and skills associated with it. The book also presents the vocabulary and branches of body language in detail. We talked about languages:The face, voice, fingers, hands, touch, body position and movements, appearance, colors, distances and spatial space, and the symbolic connotations of the use of time. The book also dealt with the uses of body language in some sciences and professions, then it shed light on the limits of body language with a presentation of some examples of cultural differences in interpreting body language.
