Usage
► Cold therapy:
♦ Place the pack in the freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours before each use.
► Hot therapy:
♦ Hot water – Place the pack in hot water (maximum 80°C) for 10 minutes.
♦ Microwave
Place the pack in the microwave (800 watts recommended).
Make sure the gel is evenly distributed throughout the pack.
Heat the pack for 60 seconds on low power. Heating times will vary depending on the power of your microwave.
If more heat is needed, heat in 3-second increments until desired temperature is reached.
Leave the pack on for at least 1 minute before applying
Warning
► Always wrap the pack in a towel before each use to protect the skin from burns due to too much or too little heat
► It is generally recommended that cold or hot therapy last no longer than 20 minutes.
► When using as a post-operative treatment, follow your doctor’s instructions.
► If the contents of the pack come into contact with the skin or eyes, wash them with water immediately. If irritation or redness persists, consult a doctor.
► Children should use this product under adult supervision.
► The contents of the compress are not intended for ingestion. If the contents are accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical attention from a physician.
► Do not attempt to open the outer packaging of the compress to see what is inside.
