Royal Canin Renal Dry is a complete nutritional feed for cats formulated to support kidney function in chronic renal insufficiency, through its limited levels of phosphorus and high-quality proteins. Renal Dry is also formulated to reduce oxalate stone formation through its low calcium and vitamin D content and its urine alkalizing properties. Recommendations: It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or before extending the period of use. Feed Renal Dry initially for up to 6 months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and to reduce oxalate stone formation. Recommended for: azotemic chronic kidney disease (CKD Stage 2 to Stage 4), management of calcium oxalate urinary frequency in cats with impaired kidney function, and prevention of recurrent urolithiasis requiring urine alkalization: urate and cystine. Not recommended for: growth, pregnancy, and lactation. This diet is complete and balanced and can be fed long-term. A full health check by a veterinarian should be performed every 6 months.
