Viltrox EF-E5 Overview

The Mark V EF-E5 Canon EF Lens to Sony E-Mount Body Adapter with OLED Screen from Viltrox is designed to allow a Canon EF-mount lens to be used with autofocus on a Sony E-mount camera. The programmable OLED display can show focal length, aperture, aperture mode, and Debug mode. The Debug allows manual adjustment for incompatible lenses, the plus and minus buttons allow focus parameters to be adjusted.

The adapter supports full electronic communication for transfer if EXIF data, phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus, and Canon lens image stabilization. An integrated switch on the barrel of the adapter allows autofocus mode to be selected without having to navigate a camera menu. .

The removable tripod foot is tapped with a 1/4"-20 accessory thread, providing for direct attachment to a tripod or quick release plate. For ease of upgrading its firmware, this adapter also includes a micro-USB port.
