This is a totally monolithic structure made of carbon fiber, this type of construction offers several advantages and allows to obtain a much more resistant and efficient product. As there are no interruptions, the fibers work in a homogeneous way, without tension points, with linear and progreive behavior distributing the loads over a larger surface. Unlike the claic rod/handlebar curve, this type of architecture avoids the constant, localized strees introduced by tightening the screws that secure the handlebar and greatly prolongs its service life with difficulty. Therefore, no compreion of the handlebars with danger of , involuntary rotation and saing; the end result is a solidity that a ditional solution can never have.

Total freedom in shapes allows you to use new stylistic solutions, such as the integrated steering cap equipped with a pre-load screw from view for a sleeker, cleaner final look. Both the preload screw and the two fastening screws to the main are made of black anodized titanium with truncated conical head and Torx coupling. Titanium is the best material that can be used in contact with carbon fiber because, because it is inert, it does not create any kind of oxidation problem. The XX1 handlebar occupies only 29.5mm in height in the head tube, a reduced value compared to ditional rods, this allows to get an even lower and racing position and be able to use forks equipped with a not particularly long head tube.

The XX1 handlebar is characterized by a Backsweep angle of 7 ° and an Upsweep of 5 °, the climb is zero. The width of the handlebar is 740mm, but on request even shorter (up to 700mm), specify the desired width in the order notes.

As for the equivalent rod length, the following sizes are available: 50-60-70-80-90-100mm. The inclination of the rod is variable with the length of the rod and such that it guarantees the handlebar a fixed negative dispment equal to-12mm. It is now poible to have the XX1 handlebar also with + 3mm of post-Active dispment and-25mm negative. They are sizes suitable for the practice of XC Racing and Marathon, developed based on frames equipped with modern geometry with steering angle between 67 ° and 70 °. The lowered position allows you to lower the center of gravity and load the front axle more for greater vehicle control and more efficient pedaling.

The XX1 handlebar is made with Mitsubishi MR70 fiber, the most modern and high-performance intermediate module fiber, developed for the aerospace sector and capable of optimizing the strength/weight ratio to the maximum.
