The needles holding the strap are not completely intact and the strap is hard to install compared to other straps.

It's just very good and practical. Much much better than the original strap, in terms of ease of use; taking on & off, and fine adjusting width. It's a breeze. A must have for those who frequently take the band off and on, and may like to tighten or loosen the strap several times a day.
