مقياس تشخيص أعراض اضطراب التوحد وفق DSM- V

Autism disorder is a general or widespread psychological, neurological, and developmental disorder that stays with the individual throughout his life, and is accompanied by many deficiencies in all aspects of development, and all subsequent patterns of interaction and intervention with children depend on the diagnosis of the disorder that is currently made within the framework of the fifth diagnostic manual. DSM-V This study aims to prepare and develop a diagnostic scale for autism according to DSM-V that can be used by professionals, teachers and parents for this purpose. The sample included the diagonal of a child with autism who frequent the specialized centers to receive service in the cities of Zagazig, Fakous and Husseinieh in the Sharkia governorate, whose ages ranged between 6-12 years. The descriptive approach was used, and the Autism Diagnosis Scale, according to DSM-V, which was prepared by the two researchers. The results of this study resulted in this scale having psychometric properties that make it possible to be trusted and reliable. And the existence of standards enabling the interpretation of children's grades on it, and classifying them into specific groups accordingly, as well as being able, through such criteria, to determine the rates and levels of probability of developing autism among children. The study ended with the validity of using this scale to diagnose autism disorder among children.
