Bookmart Thorns and Cloves (Yahya Al-Sinwar)

The novel depicts the life of Palestinians under occupation. We learn about their rituals of grief and joy, their relationship with the organizations that provide them with aid, their schools, their children’s toys, the architecture of their homes and their simple furniture, their types of food and drink, and we feel the pain and fear of mothers when their sons are arrested or imprisoned, wounded or have their bones broken and they are martyred.
