With these chinese earphones, some are really good and some are not, this is one of the good ones. Overall it sounds a bit thin compared to warmer headphones, but details are very clear and it has a good soundstage. Base is textured and present without being too strong, mid range is a bit thin but very clear, treble is also clear without being annoying or sibilant at all ( I am very sensitive to sibilance). If you like a warm full sound you might be a bit disappointed but these are a big upgrade to the earbuds that come with phones.
