The QSFP-40G-SR-BD is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet BiDirectional (BiDi) QSFP+ transceiver module designed for high-performance, short-reach data center and enterprise networking applications. Using BiDi technology, it enables 40G connectivity over a standard duplex LC multimode fiber, significantly reducing cabling costs by reusing existing 10G fiber infrastructure.
It provides a cost-effective migration path from 10G to 40G, making it ideal for modern high-density data center architectures.
