The science of negotiation passed through three successive stages until the general theoretical framework that could be relied upon in reference to this science was completed. These stages are: the art stage: or what is called “the art of negotiation,” the literature stage or what is called “negotiation literature,” and the science stage. Or what is called "the science of negotiation." There are different types of negotiation that can be identified according to the type of activity related to it, the most important of which are: commercial negotiations, political negotiations, legal negotiations, social negotiations...etc. They can also be identified according to those who conduct them according to the type of negotiations, the most important of which are: family negotiations, party negotiations, government negotiations, international negotiations.
