The Curse Manuscript 3: Return to the Shadows

The lights had gone completely out. Shadows had returned to engulf everything around Youssef and Nada. The darkness was thick, like a gloom that envelops the senses, and nothing could be heard but the rapid beating of their hearts. The moments they had experienced inside the temple were still vivid in their minds, as if they were still trapped in those three rooms, with no idea how to escape.

كانت الأضواء قد انطفأت تمامًا. لقد عادت الظلال لتبتلع كل شيء حول يوسف وندى. كان الظلام سميكًا كالعتمة التي تلف الحواس، ولا شيء يمكن أن يُسمع سوى دقات قلبيهما المتسارعة. كانت اللحظات التي مرّوا بها داخل المعبد لا تزال عالقة في ذهنهما، وكأنهما لا يزالان عالقين في تلك الغرف الثلاث، لا يملكان أدنى فكرة عن كيفية الهروب.
