Twin Sensor Technology

The watch is built around a Twin Sensor system that provides critical environmental data at the touch of a button: 

• Digital Compass: A dedicated button at the 9 o'clock position activates the compass mode instantly. The second hand acts as a north needle for 20 continuous seconds, while the upper digital display shows a literal direction indicator and the lower display provides the specific direction angle.
• Bearing Memory: This allows you to store a direction reading as a reference to help you maintain a specific course during subsequent readings.
• Thermometer: Measures temperature ranging from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F), accessible through a separate search button in standard timekeeping mode. 

Visibility and Display

• Neon Illuminator: Features a specialized "black light" LED that interacts with a coating on the tips of the hands and indices. This causes them to glow brightly in blue-green for superior legibility in total darkness.
• Aviation-Style Face: The dial is designed for rapid reading, featuring large numerals, thick hands, and a spherical mineral glass surface to reduce glare and distortion.
• Dual Display: Includes two negative (dark) digital sub-dials that show the day, date, and secondary timekeeping configurations. 

Performance and Durability

• Extreme Resistance: Like all G-Shocks, it features a highly durable shock-resistant structure and is water-resistant up to 200 meters (20 bar), making it suitable for both high-altitude flight and marine activities.
• World Time: Supports 31 time zones across 48 cities plus UTC, with a quick-swap feature for home and world city times.
• Additional Tools: Includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 60-minute countdown timer, and 5 daily alarms with one snooze function.
