Design and Build

The GA-1100-1A3DR features a bold, aggressive design with a focus on high visibility and robust construction. 

• Materials: The case is a combination of tough resin and stainless steel, paired with a durable resin band. The dial window is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral glass (sometimes listed as spherical glass).
• Aesthetics: The watch has a uniform black coloring, accented by green highlights on the dial and a bi-color molded band with a black outer surface and gray inner surface. Wide hour and minute hands enhance readability of the home time.
• Durability: It is both shock resistant and magnetic resistant, and boasts 200-meter water resistance, suitable for serious aquatic activities. 

Features and Functions

Designed with aviators in mind, the watch provides a range of tools for navigation and timekeeping across the globe. 

• Twin Sensor Technology: It includes a digital compass (with 60-second continuous measurement) and a thermometer (display range: -10 to 60℃ or 14 to 140℉). A large button at 9 o'clock provides one-press access to the bearing or temperature sensor readings.
• Dual Dial World Time: This feature displays the current time in two different cities simultaneously, with the local time shown in a 12-hour format on the sub-dial at 9 o'clock. It covers 31 time zones (48 cities + UTC).
• Illumination: A high-luminance LED light (Super Illuminator) with auto light switch and afterglow ensures readability in the dark. Neobrite luminous hands and markers are also present for passive illumination.
