تقليل الاحتكاك: أهم ميزة! الأقمشة العادية زي القطن (الموجود في المخدات) بتسبب احتكاك قوي مع الشعر أثناء النوم والتقلب. الاحتكاك ده بيؤدي لتقصف الأطراف، هيشان الشعر، وتكسره. الستان سطح أملس جداً بيخلي الشعر ينزلق عليه بدون احتكاك، فبيحافظ على سلامة الشعرة.
