At bedtime, at night, please put the oil in a small, open-mouthed bowl. Please ensure that the quantity of oil is proportional to the length and thickness of your hair so that it is sufficient to cover your hair completely. Apply the oil with your fingertips to your scalp and gently massage it until it penetrates the roots (follicles) of your hair. Do not apply it with your palms and never rub it vigorously as it may pull out weak hair. Slow application and massaging only into the hair will yield the desired results. Let the oil gradually seep into your hair follicles and nourish them throughout the night. The oil can be removed in the morning by washing your hair with an Ayurvedic shampoo. Make sure not to use chemical shampoos.
